Shepard Pie Forgiveness

Chef P',
I give you kudos. Without getting into the specifics, you have a difficult homecoming, yet you persevere, give the bad news to Sugar P ., and at the same time create a diversion to pull out the evening. You are kind and considerate, an evolving Chef, and unpredictable, as well as entertaining. The evening began 25 minutes after SP returns from a spring break vacation. As far as the carrots and balsamic glace go.............well, it might be a topic for a future morning stroll!!!!!!

We need to come to terms regarding the (? new) dog.  He needs a name, Chef P' says Risoto, I said Rissoto, The dictionary says Risotto? Go figure.  What are your thoughts? Think about this.......He was bred by one of the owners of a fabulous catering company (Silver Spoons) . A food name is appropriate, an Italian food name an extra plus. He  needs to have a nickname.  What are your recommendations?

VINO ON THE BRAIN

V Blogmaster-
We made a quest to find your favorite vino tonight at:

We know you have a soft spot for Cakebread....

JR says you would like this 1973....

Although this may be the right fit....

Then again... on a different note.

We couldn't decide, so the four jurists
went to BoomBozz Tap House, for beer flights.

The Jury is still out,  As described by Chef Pete'

In your spare time

Chef Pete' has been off the chart lately. I don't know exactly where he is but he did drop me a line the other day. It might explain his MIA.

V
I had some 20 year old Pappy Van Winkle on Easter....... smooth!

(one cube of ice is the recommended recipe.)

Apparently, He tasted more than 20 y.o. bourbon.  I think he liked the quote as much as the Bourbon.

EASTER BRUNCH THAT WAS

As with most holidays there is opportunity to share good times with friends and family and this was exactly what  Barb and Jim did. The start was a naughty beverage of your choice, followed by more food than we want to admit. The list is extensive, but impressive.

Sally's Famous Frozen Fruit Cups
Honey Baked Ham
Cheesy Hash Brown Potato Casserole
Sausage & Egg Casserole
Cream Cheese Corn
Green Bean & Tarragon Salad
Hal's Caramel Rolls
Italian Bread
Carrot Cake
Bloody Marys
Screwdrivers
Mimosas
Cranberry Juice & Vodka with a Lime

No calories here BUT.........who cares. It's a celebration.

THE GUYS-------NO HELP WITH DISHES-------SNOOZING

They  just need a basketball game that has Butler winning. Close but no cigar.
Perhaps cognac and a cigar.
